Rayne is a third-year law student at the University of San Diego School of Law with a strong interest in civil litigation and an unwavering commitment to the pursuit of justice in the workplace. She serves as the Co-Vice President of the Black Law Students Association and the SBA Representative of the Immigration Law Society. As a law student, Rayne has developed her legal skills through a diverse range of opportunities, including a year-long internship with the Center for Public interest Law, where she monitored and reported on the work of a government agency; an internship with the ABA Immigration Justice Project; and participation in various pro bono clinics that provide free legal assistance to clients with their civil and family law matters. Rayne holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and Spanish from the University of San Diego.


As a law clerk for Payton Employment Law, PC Rayne assists the firm’s attorneys with legal research and litigation preparation, including drafting motions, complaints, briefs, written discovery, correspondences, and other legal documents.
